Week 3 Term 1 2014

This week we started to talk about our theme for the term..."What makes me tick?"
In Room 8 our focus is around how we learn and grow and the tools we can use to help us focus on our learning.
Mrs Finucane read us a story about Tane and the 3 Kete of Knowledge, and from this story we have decided on some of the important things we need to do to help us learn and grow.
We made learning posters about ourselves and we will keep adding things to our posters  to show our learning.






We have a big display on the wall so that we can be reminded of the things we are trying to do as we learn and grow. 

Week 2 Term 1 2014


This week we were finding out lots of things about each other and enjoying being inside our newly refurbished classroom.
The walls are very soft and clean and woolly but they are also very bare so we made some jiffy people pictures of ourselves to brighten up our entry space!




We wrote quick-writes about ourselves and made them into a poster with a portrait drawing of our faces.They look awesome inside our classroom.

Room 8 is a great class of Year 2 and 3 students who are ready to learn and are full of fun!
